Virtual Security Experimental Framework
I am part of a team of 6 students which developed a virtual security experimental framework. It contains different security scenarios which can be used for education purposes. It manages scenarios and provides a network topology of virtual machines on request where students can perform their security experiments.
This framework was developed in the context of the Network Security in Practice seminar of the Internet Technologies and -Systems group at the HPI.
The framework is described in detail this paper.

This figure shows an overview of the prototype architecture we implemented.
